Mike Bale – has been ringing at St Martins for over 30 years and been Tower Captain for 24 years. He is also the current Guild Master and Training Officer of the Guildford Diocesan Guild.

Roger Tompsett – another long-time ringer at St Martins and the current Leatherhead District Master of the Guildford Diocesan Guild. Roger’s job is to run practices in Mike’s absence and be responsible for the maintenance of the bells, checking them regularly and supervising any repairs.
Margaret Bale – (Mike’s wife) has been Tower Secretary and Treasurer for over 25 years. She looks after all the tower’s administration including liaison with the church over weddings, special services etc… Margaret learnt to ring in 1972 at Ashtead.
Jacqueline Bale – Margaret & Mike’s daughter learnt to ring aged 10. Now a keen peal ringer, Jacqui is also an active member of the University of London Society of Change Ringers where she is also webmaster and loves teaching new ringers.
